Vindictus private server ohk6/1/2023 19? Seriously, why the hell? I thought Kai was too much when he was released - bow could've just been a Lann 3rd weapon, but 19 characters? What, did their metrics show that brought in the dough? Maybe instead of making money, they could make an actual game, and then the money could come in from that. I guess they can't have characters do something special anymore they'd have to come up with something special for all. What the hell happened? Was it mismanagement? Bad game design? How are there so many characters, and why? Not to mention the leveling experience is bland as hell forget the fact that it's solo, I had to do my fair share of solo in Monster Hunter, but at least those hunts were fun.Īlso, I learned my Karok can only Clash once every 20 minutes now. We freaked out when RaidHunter, a Lann, could kill Glas solo. I remember gaming the ergs market by buying life and eternity ergs to turn into potions and party feathers - when Glas was release, everyone HAD to have a party feather, and I had to dig into my own party feather supply instead of selling them just so we could clear it. There's just nobody left, is there? I played near when the game started, back when Titan was released and groups tried to coordinate ballistas and the highly valuable heel breakoff while also not dying horribly. The comment I'm replying to - front page of the Vindi reddit, 14 days old. Zero replies, and it's the second most recent post a player has made. I see a post on the official forums, second from the top, asking "should I return?" posted in February. I think Japanese and SEA server also shut down, so while it may not necessarily be dead it's definitely not thriving.īeen playing Elden Ring I saw a Vindictus image and decided to check in, and watching this game stumble along is depressing. They then sold it back to Nexon who decided to operate it themselves.ĭunno about the financial situation with Nexon but I think they lost quite a bit of players somewhere along the way with the account transfers, myself included. Few years later the original operator Garena sold the rights to Gamania, because it wasn't making them enough money I guess. After moving to Taiwan I started a new account because of region lock, and I've noticed a very large and active player base along with quite a few other major differences. I've played the game since launch in 2010 when I was in NA. If Nexon distributed the game themselves and hosted their own servers globally and without all the version differences perhaps players could feel more connected and have a sense of community? I think one of the issue that it feels like it's dwindling is that the player base is divided between regional distributors.
